ABOUT O.R. TAMBO AFRICA RESEARCH CHAIR INITIATIVE

Advancing African Research and Development

The O.R. Tambo Africa Research Chair on Nanoscience and Nanotechnology hosted at the Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology—NM-AIST is an initially designed five-years program (2021-2025) with possibility of extension up to fifteen years, subject to the promising progress in achieving intended results and availability of funding.

Build human critical mass.

Training masters, PhD and post-doctoral research scientists in application of nanoscience, nanotechnology.

Strong Collaboration and Partnerships

Work with like-minded and motivated experts in the field to fast-tract results in a connected and sustainable manner
